2017 Linfield Fall Camp Interview: Offensive Tackle Dakota Smith

We caught up with starting offensive tackle Dakota Smith as he enters off a fantastic sophomore campaign for the Wildcat offensive line.  Dakota and his linemates are going to be a huge factor for the success of the 2017 Wildcats.  We talked about his progression in the program, the experience of playing against a Linfield great at practice and some of the very best in Division III in 2016 and how that will assist him going into 2017.

The 2017 season is just days away from kicking off for our Linfield Wildcats. With that in mind, I reached out to Linfield long time defensive coordinator Jackson Vaughan.  Coach Vaughan is an incredible football coach as he enters into his 12th year as the Wildcats defensive coordinator (22nd year overall and still in his early 40's).

I wanted to get Coach Vaughan's views on the 2017 Linfield Defense. I believe the group could develop into a sledgehammer.  Linfield has an explosive defensive front seven but will have a number of new faces in the defensive backfield.

Sit down interview with Linfield's Ad Rutschman

Back in June of this year, I had the pleasure of sitting down with our very own Ad Rutschman. Coach Rutschman doesn't need an introduction as he's a college football Hall of Fame member, mastermaind of 3 Linfield football national title teams, 1 Linfield baseball national championship team, and countless other conference titles.  The interview covers a number of topics with Coach Rutschman as we talk about the beginning of his time at Linfield to the current state of the game. In between there are some great insight on relationships that still rings true today and a number of other thoughts from Coach.

2017 Fall Camp concludes

The Linfield Wildcats 2017 fall camp has concluded as the new look 'Cats look to answer a ton of questions on the offensive side of the ball and in the Linfield secondary.  We'll start diving into this team over the next two weeks as we build to the Chapman game on September 9th down in Anaheim.
