The 2014 Field Turf Replacement project is moving right along as the Maxwell Field surface is currently being regraded. In speaking to one of the crew members this morning he said they should be finished by this upcoming Saturday and said regrading is progressing perfectly.
I haven't seen a mockup of what the new surface will look like but I do know the field will thankfully be green (no gimmicks) and I suspect it will be very similar to the previous configuration. That's a great thing as the previous field look freaking fantastic for 10 years. No soccer lines and green turf....I'll take that any day of the week.
