The annual Linfield Alumni vs. Junior Varsity game is now set and ready to go. The 'Cats have been playing alumni/j.v. game since 2005 and it's been a big hit for the program to have former 'Cats squeeze into the Linfield gear one more time to face off vs the young bucks. It's the past of Linfield football vs. the future and I've yet to see both sides of the not have a great time.
This year's game will be played at 7 P.M. on Saturday, September 24th or just a little over a month away. If you're interested in playing in the game Coach Brandon Hazenberg has set up a open events page on Facebook where you can let him know that you want to buckle up one more time. This will be a great Saturday as the 24th will be a double feature as the 'Cats will battle La Verne University at 1 P.M. and then the Alumni/J.V. tilt will be the night cap. It should be great weather and great times in the Valley so make sure you sign up and make it on out to the 'Catdome.
