OPENING ROUND PLAYOFFS AT THE 'CATDOME!!!!

The 'Catdome isn't done yet!!!!

Your Linfield Wildcats may be the #5 seed in the West Region but due to CLU's stadium facility being unable to host a playoff game the opening round of the 2010 playoffs will be held at the CATDOME!!!!!! Game will be on November 20th (Saturday) and all playoffs games start at noon local time. The winner of the Linfield/CLU game will most likely be headed out to the Twin Cities to play the #1 seed St. Thomas. Of course, we'll have more information during the week about the match-up. Let's ring the alarm and get as many Wildcats to the game as possible

Is it just me or does anybody else feel like Linfield is going to smash the piss out of Cal Lu this time. Sounds like week 1 Linfield was like a Chinese fire drill on defense. I'm guessing they've tightened things up a bit in the last 8 weeks. After all, somebody needs to pay for wrecking Linfield's perfect record against the SCIAC, may as well be Cal Lu.

I'm super excited for this one, I'm just hoping I can get some Jewel or maybe even some Rod Stewart to get me extra pumped before kickoff!!

DT,

I'm hoping this is the case. CLU will once again have the best D-Line we will face and how we play against them will be a huge key. If Linfield comes out "sharp" they are going to be tough to beat at home. Can't wait for it!!!!

I hesitate to say we'll crush them because we've all seen the team come out flat for a couple of halves this season. My take-if the 'Cats play to their potential, we can beat ANYONE, ANYTIME, ANYWHERE!

Linfield got a HUGE break for this first round playoff game. Being at home for this round should be the deciding factor. We just need to fill the Cat Dome with screaming fans!!!

I think the defensive side of the ball will be the key. Obviously the guys have done an awesome job lately, and even with Mosier's 202, opponents are rushing just 80 a game. Minus that game, the average is 65.

Maybe they haven't faced a back like Mosier either but I think all signs point to game one jitters, brand new LBs, and a huge let down in the 2nd half in that first game.

Can't wait to get out there Saturday.
